Plants

We have bee learning about plants in Y3, what the different parts are, and what they need to grow. As part of our work, we have set up several investigations as well as planting out own seeds. We found that cress doesn't need soil to grow! As part of our work on instructions, we grew and made sandwiches out of our cress. We enjoyed eating these sandwiches (some more than others!)

Stone Age

We have had lots of fun learning about life in the Stone Age. We used the book 'UG' to think about how we could make life better for him. We found out how life was different in the Stone Age, they didn't even have TV's! We used materials found in nature to create cave art, and we designed and made Stonehenge using biscuits. Yummy!
