Race Night - Tickets on Sale Now
Wow!!!!  A Race Night!  It’s nearly March and after the success of the Quiz, the PTA team members wanted to bring you something special.  What a night this will be, all the thrill of the races on your doorstep!!

The Race Night will be held on
Friday 12 March 2010, in the School Hall, from 7.30 pm (Ticket entry only)

Become a horse owner and receive a PRIZE when your horse wins!!!  Please note that there are ONLY 48 Horses available. HURRY UP AND BUY ONE BEFORE YOU MISS OUT.

NB: This Race Night will be professionally managed and there will be a buffet and bar on site. Entry tickets cost £3.50(includes buffet).  Horses cost £5 each, see list for availability.  Tickets and Horses can be bought in the playground or by visiting the School Office.

Gift from PTA
In recognition of our outstanding Ofsted report, the PTA very kindly gave school a donation to fund an event for the children.  We have arranged for the Storytellers Theatre Company to visit on Monday 22 March.  They will be performing either Wind in the Willows or the Wizard of Oz for KS1 and Tales from a Caravan to Key Stage 2.

Introduction Letter from the Chair Person
Hello I would like to introduce myself, I am Helena and my son is in Year 2.  I have taken on the roll as Chair Person for the PTA, so you will be hearing a lot from me over the next year.  I know that this will be a challenging year for raising money together.

Our goal, as parents and teachers, is to ensure that our children at St Margarets, receive what is needed to benefit their education. Although time seems short, as working parents, with all our co-operation we can do this!

So if you have any queries, ideas, skills that you can volunteer then please come to a PTA meeting, or if it’s not possible to make a meeting then please contact me on pta.stmargarets@hotmail.com . I will be able to update you regularly with news and events and a list of tasks that I need help with.
