Learning  »  Computing

At St Margaret's we use a variety of approaches to enhance our curriculum using technology. The children use a programme called Discovery Education within school from Year 1 – Year 6. The children build on their coding skills as they move through school. Being challenged with Python and HTML tasks. We use iPads to support classroom topics, whether this is creating I-movies, using QR scanners or even for research to support in class projects (KS2).

Below you will find our whole school Long Term Plan for the year 2020/2021. Each year this is adapted to support the different cohorts of learners and feedback from pupil voice questionnaires.

If you have any queries regarding our teaching of computing in school, please contact myself, Miss Dawson (Y5 class teacher and computing subject lead).
